The Aarey Hospital in Aarey Colony, Goregaon, had remained closed for nearly 30 years. Through public movements, indefinite hunger strikes, and road-block protests led by Dr. Govind Pandey, National President of Jivandhara Sangh, along with Ms. Sarika Naidu, Maharashtra State Secretary, the hospital was successfully reopened to serve the local community.
Jivandhara Sangh organized a road-block protest (Rasta Roko Andolan) near the Peninsula Hotel area in Sakinaka, Mumbai, to highlight the persistent traffic congestion faced by local residents.
For many years, the area had been affected by severe traffic jams due to illegal encroachments and unauthorized parking by transport operators. As a result, school-going students, commuters, and local residents were forced to face daily inconvenience and hardship.
To address these issues and demand effective traffic management, Jivandhara Sangh launched a public movement and protest against the inaction of the traffic authorities, seeking immediate measures to remove illegal parking and improve traffic flow for the benefit of the community.
